I need to know the location of IAT on 98 neon

I am wanting to place a resistor in my IAT sensor to see if it will increase proformance but i do not know wear the sensor is located i know that it is on the intake manifold but i am not sure what it looks like or what numbers it has on it any help will but gladly taken.

This should have been posted in the Neon forum, you would have recieved a response much more quickly that way.
The 95-96 Neons had seperate IAT and MAP sensors, but 97-99 were changed, and had a combined IAT/MAP sensor. The location differs between SOHC and DOHC motors. Before you insert a resistor in the IAT's circuit, keep in mind that you are doing the same to the MAP. I have no idea what implications this has, as I haven't ever been inclined to do so. Good luck but I have a feeling that the result will be unsatisfactory to you.
