I was travelling during the winter, and my vehicle slid off the road into the ditch and rolled - sustaining body damage. The body shop really wanted to call it a right off - although he gave me a repair as new estimate - a good chunk of the value of the vehicle and a much better - make it safe estimate. The engine and frame is fine. However, the body shop seemed to think that due to the accident the vehicle warranty would be void. What do folks think? It's a new vehicle, I only have liability, and 19,000 miles on it, and I would rather not junk it, besided I really can't afford to.

I don't think that the warranty would have been voided from the accident, although you'll want to read over the terms and the fine print of what your warranty does cover, and what can void it. But in my honest opinion, I think they're giving you the run around. If I were you, I wouldn't junk it, it's too new to go and do something like that, although it may be cheaper to just go and junk it and get another car than to repair it. Be sure to check out your warranty though, don't let Toyota screw you.
