87 bmw 325i problems

I am trying to sell a 325i and i can get the hood to pop open because the plastic latch broke off is there a way to fix it or replace it also the trunk will not open i dont know if im doin something wrong or if there is somekind of trick to it

if the handle if broken simply pull on the handle and the hood will pop open. the handle is just made for a lever, if it is still attached to the side kick panel then you can pull it open. If you cant use the handle use pliers or vice grips and pull directly on the wire. You can buy a new handle and wire they are fairly inexpensive.
