need more power

i have an 89 ranger with a 4 cylinder 2.3 92 engine an i would like to get more hp out of it. I don't have a turbo but i heard that you can take a turbo off a merkur engine.

hey, ive got a 91 ranger with 2.3 liter, the turbos off of cougars and thundebirds work on rangers, but you need the intake manifold for it as well, and ive heard its a straight bolt on. in the mean time, go get a intake syatem or make your own and use a k and n filter
