How can I reset ck eng lt without going to dealer

Have you diagnosed and repaired the problem or do you just want to turn off the light?
Turning off the light won't do anything unless you repair the cause.

Oh yea..you will need a scan tool.

well, if nothings wrong, then i had the same thing with mine, it just wouldn't turn off when nothing was wrong with it. I just went with the old peice of electrical tape over it, but you can prolly just disconnect the wire if you want to

Just Disconect Your Battery If You Want It To Go Away For Like 10 To 15 Seconds And That Will Erase The Computers Memory. But That Ain't Going To Fix Your Problem.

chk engine lights dont come by themselves without a reason ..somewhere a sensor told the computer that there is a problem
not all problems are external easy to decipher

remember that if you do disconnect the battery and reconnect it. the next time you drive the car (depending on the specifics) you may have to drive 7 miles without exceeding 35mph for the computer to reprogram itself.
