hood cable

I have a 87 park ave and the hood cable does not do it's job it is broken how do i get the hood up to try to replace it

please help

I have the same problem but with a 1991 PA, The cable and lever inside is broke, can't get it started, need to put plugs and wires on it, can't get it running cause I can't get the hood up.

How do I get the hood up so I can get it running?

I had a similar problem witht he latch on my 92 PA...the way I got it open was a flashlight, screwdriver, can of WD-40 and a buddy...can't think of anything else right now, but good luck
