88 hatchback suspension

i have a 88 hatch dx with b16a with lsd and i know the rear control arms are different than the 89-91. Is this the only difference between the 88 model and the others. Shocks are for 89-91 so if i change the control arm it should fit but im not sure. Please help

you can find shocks for 88 suspension, such as tokicos and konis. or you can also switch out the lower control arm and use shocks for 89-91. and that is the only difference.
