The time is near!!!

Hey crew.. Sorry i haven't been on lately but i have been extremely busy with my car and school. I just wanted to say that this monday i get my car back and it will officially have a 300zx engine in it. With over 400hp. We ran into some problems with the LSD and rear end from the z31 trying to bolt it to the back end, the main problem would have been my car would have looked like a mexican lowrider with american racing rims. The tires would have stuck out like roller skate wheels.

Other than that is was a very successful swap. There was a lot of fabricating, but since money wasn't an issue they were happy to cut as many holes as i told them.

Anyways i will hopefully have it at the track with two months as soon as we get finished with the breakin fluids, and the engine has worn a couple thousand miles.

I just wanted to say thanks to anyone that had suggesions and ideas. They were greatly appreciated.

haha but anyways, congratulations man, im proud that you did what you wanted to do instead of just frontin like others would.

i myself really wouldnt drive that car unless it was loaded with wealthy nympho japanese schoolgirls tending to my every desire...and maybe a bucket of chicken and a sprite.

can i ask a question? why vg30et? id assume if you were gonna go all out in fabrication, youd atleast go with the dohc tt. and how did you come up with 400 hp? have you had it dynoed yet?

i think the sohc single turbo is easier to fit into the 240 engine compartment.

what material are the VG blocks made of?

THis engine was highly modified when it went to the machine shop. It was bored 90 over, then stroked. THen we got it ported and polished. Next we went for a big t5 turbo, that at it's will could push 35 psi. THat is about it. Except for you know the boost controller, and turbo timer.
