not saying anything about the car... just curious is the game as good as they say it is, and does it feel realistic? oh and do you get to customize your cars or just buy them and drive them as is?

yea so I know this isn't a video game board but we talked abotu F&F and 2F2F so anyways I'm talking about this game :biggrin:

some NFS fans don't really like the game . I think it's because the population makes it exist .

I did play all series of NFS . this one is more like a "mod ready" NFS.

You must win all the event to buy part and customize yours car . form internal performance part to bodykits .

yeah... i don't really like the physics too much... and the sounds. But I got an RX-7 too! And the weird thing is i got it after playing my first round.

i think it is a pretty good game... im still playing it though, n i have a steerin wheel with force feedback and everything... but im still stuck at this drifting stage so i traded my gtr for a 240 but i start to drift in a strait line in 1st gear :screwy: oh well ill pass it someday :biggrin:

oh yeah.. one thing that was dissapointing to me is taht when u put on a new exhaust, it doesnt sound ne different

the game physics are terrible, their is no difference between AWD, FWD, and RWD. it glorifies Lancers [no not evolutions,just lancers] Mazda Miatas, RSX's, and RX-7 while it makes other cars look like crap [Supra, 350z, 240, Subaru Impreza]. Other then that it plays pretty good, the cut scences are EXTREMELY lame but overall the game is pretty fun.

afrokid, you have no idea what you are talking about... i have the game... they took that into consideration... if you redline the skyline at the start then shift into first you only have a wheel screach while if you redline the 240sx you will stay they for maybe 2 or 3 seconds before you gain grip.... also in that game... you cant drift with an rsx or any of the front wheel drive cars... just like u shouldnt be able to in real life... trust me i tried it... you basically have to trade your car in for a s2000 rx7 240sx or something of that sort...

Yeah, the game has it's ups and downs. the physics are nowhere near the realism of Gran turismo 3 (which still need some work) but the storyline, though corny is really fun. I started with a miata, and used it untill I unlocked the supra. As soon as i unlocked the RX, i got it, but how do you change the colors on the vinyls and stuff? all of mine stay white.

It depends on which system you're running the game on. For example, on a PS2 it's the square button. You can find out which key to press on the screen that shows the four layers.

I just got the game for PC, wow was i ever disapointed. Sure the game is kinda fun, but the physics were absolutely horrible. Just like some shitty arcade game. Coming from a guy who thought the physics on GT3 were bad, take this how you want. If you want to play a really good racing game play Live for Speed. The physics in that game are absolutely amazing. By far the best out of any game that i have ever seen. Unfortunately, none of the cars are licensed :disappoin but you can easily tell what the cars are. They even have a non turbo FC and a turbo FC. They also have some really cool features like autocross, rallycross, 2 to 8 lane dragstrips, and a skidpad. check it out http://liveforspeed.net
