When did the current A4 body style come out?

Was just wondering. I really like the car the way it is right now and I was wondering how long it's current body style has been out. Also how many years does it usually take for audi to come out with another body style? I'm considering either an A4 maybe s4, an m3, or a g35 and so far the a4/s4 is at the top of my list but I just wanted to make sure the body doesn't change too fast if i do buy. Thanks in advance!

no it will not change anytime soon. It came out in 2002 so there isnt even that many mods available yet so youll be safe with your purchase rest assured.

actually there are a couple minor exterior changes for the 2004 model

The B6 platform started as a 2001MY in Europe and then as a 2002MY in the US. Plan for it to be subtly changed in the next year or so and then go to the new B7 platform in probably around the 2006-2007MY.
