The little things needed for a swap

So im probably gonna by this 91 CRX Si next week and then next month im buying from a friend a JDM B16a1 complete swap(tranny, ECU, cut wiring harness, etc.) and I was wondering what little things are needed for the swap. Like maybe a bigger fuel pump, different axels, tranny mounts, will I need to replace all that stuff or anything else. I already know about the motor mounts and im probably gonna get those from Hasport but what else do I need? Any thoughts or comments? Oh and also if the 91 Si doesnt work out, does it matter if I end up with a HF or DX instead?

You don't need a fuel pump, stock one will work. As far as axels, use the same axels that are coming with the swap (since you said it was complete.) As for the mounts, since youre getting Hasport mounts, it will come with a whole complete set of three. You can find cheaper motor mounts on eBay that are the same quality that Hasport sells and the same set for like, $250 Buy It Now...as opposed to $400. My BF just sold his on eBay for $227, brand new (HCP.) If you plan on getting an HF or DX...the HF should come with multi-point fuel injections and the wiring harness is the same as the CRX si..you won't have any problems with the wiring for VTEC if you buy the subharness from Hasport which is $75. If you get the DX...it's a dual-point fuel injection and involves sending the stock wiring harness out of the engine to Hasport so they can convert it to run VTEC and to add two extra wires for the other two injectors...$200. So I would suggest getting the Si or HF. It makes the swap a lot more easier...oh yah, and make sure the HF is multi-point fuel injected because some people say it's an HF but it really isn't. :screwy:

being JDM you'll need either a wiring harness or a lot of 16-18 gauge wire, and about 100 butt-connectors to extend the harness from driver to passenger side. Also MAKE SURE you get a fuel feed line going from the fuel filter to the fuel rail. My engine wouldn't start because of this 12-15 inch line. You may need that bolt to fit on it too which it connects to on the rail (they fuggin cost like $60). You'll probably need new plugs, a new distributor, and new belts also. I replaced all these before installation just as a precaution, and it was all right there so I didn't have to reach down into tight spaces in my car.

PM me if you have any questions during installation and I'll try to help best I can.
