Hi, im new to AF, and i have a 1996 Civic EX with B16B EK9CTR engine swap, and im wondering, how will i make this motor revolve in excess of 10000 RPM, for fun and bragging rights?

Modification to the ECU taking the limiters out, with the so called sport chip. Rev it up and blow the engine!!!
Its hard to do that I already asked if raising the redline was good performance wise, but you have to modify lots of shit...

lots of head work and some basic block modifications should have you revving 10k+ safely.

If you ant to rev past 10,000, buy a bike.

. . . or buy an F1 race car, then you have a 9,000RPM IDLE and around a 20,000RPM redline.

For real, if you plan on making 10K motor getting ready to spend some $$$$ to have it done right.

if you put a piece of tape on my dogs tail you can get a redline of about 3400rpm... is that good?

yah 10k redlines puts a lot of wear of your valvetrain, and bearings, so beefing them up is definately a good place to start. will need stronger Ti valve springs because you dont want your valves floating at the those high speeds or they will go poof!

valves, springs, retainers
Full head port and polish,
ported intake manifold.
High lift cams.
forged rods.
Large T-body
310cc+ injectors
racing ECU

hmm I think thats about all.. lol
oh, yeah some exhaust stuff would probably be good too
