2.3liter turbo

from what i understand the t3/t4 turbo is the best to use on the 2.3. what do you guys think? maybe some of you can give me some stats on this motor. thanks.

umm well that motor is pretty uncommon in stangs SVO only if memory works right (never does) ya a t3/4 or T4 is good turbo for that motor. I think its pretty commly tuned in tunderbird turbos.

Some late 70's-early 80's Cobra's may have had a 2.3T (not entirely sure, though). The stats on the motor vary significantly with the year. Between about 140 HP and 210 HP, I think. The '85.5 SVO had about 210 HP. Thats quite a bit for a 2.3L engine. On a HP per litre basis, it must be one of the more potent engines Ford ever put in a production car. '87 and '88 Turbo Coupes had 190 HP, 240 ft.lbs. Torque. Whether or not an intercooler was used on a given model seems to be what is responsible for the bulk of the HP differences.
