A few quickies that I'm sure will be hotly debated.

1.) Intake... replace stock air filter with K&N or...gut all the stock intake plumbing and put in a cone w/ short tube.

2.) Header... 4,2,1 header any special or unusual issues people have run into... is it a DIY job... ceramic coating worth it?

I dont plan on replacing the exhaust any time soon would the header be a waste?

Any exceptional Brands?????

Thx

you should go to www.preludepower.com for your answers.

DC makes the only header that's worth it. but it got discontinued. if people have stock at shops, you'll be alright.
you can do a custom intake, but the ALB gets in the way, so you'll have to modify some stuff.
i've got a 96 civic intake on mine... see the sig.

Also.
Your can't replace the factory filter with a K&N that i'm aware of, due to the oddball design. take it apart and you'll see what i mean. the filter has a hard base, instead of the soft rubber style, like a K&N. the intake tube slides over the filter, not the filter over the tube.

DC headers would be the wat to go. I think that I have them available through my distributor. While suplies last. I have to check. Let me know if you are interested. If not I know PACESETTER has a decent header available. Thats what I had on my 88 when I bought it but went to DC last summer. Happy Holidays
