lol if you have a gsr engine dont you think that you would need to buy an intake for a gsr? Intake is part of your engine... so of course you would get the intake for a gsr.

I can understand his question just fine. My car has metal plate where a B16 cai would normally be routed, and I'm sure his probably does too.
Use the gsr intake becuase the throttle body is wider than your civic's was. Dig through the internet for gsr underhood pics to see exactly where it goes, and arrange your car accordingly. I bought a short ram because I don't feel like cutting shit on my car.

I just found out today that AEM makes hybrid intakes meaning a B16 cold air can be installed on my car, routing down where a DX one would normally go.

The civic and integra engine bays are different, the shapes of the intake piping are then different. A square doesn't fit perfectly into a circle, catch my drift?

Good description....and that's why he asks I am sure. Anyone who has seen an underhood shot of a GSR knows the piping runs different.I soloved this problem by just doing a custom CAI...it saved $$ too. Fit the LS throttle body and the piping was run properly for the enigne bay.
You know, I am suprised how many ppl in here didn't realize this...that a GSR intake will be routed differently than the routing of an intake for his bay, therefor wouldn't fit right...just like an intake for his sohc won't fit the throttle body correct. I am suprised how many ppl jumped on his ass over a valid question. After all, the engine is GSR, the the enigine bay isn't, it's still and will always be civic.

so it would be alright if I called the first person to replay a dumbass, second a ricer and conclude that the third one has no type of FI application on his car, and just pretty much state that all three are :loser: :D

Well, I'll say they obviously didn't research the guys question or care to realize what he was asking. They just saw GSR motor and what intake and started raggin on him w/out realizing that he had a leight question. Lots of people wounder this after they swap. It's a commen question. For them to just launch into a bash session over that questionjust shows ignorance on the topic on their part, no offense intended. Think before you reply people, and don't go just on a bashing bandwagon without thinking. It's not always warrented...like it wasn't warrented in this case.

well, converting my R12 to R13 was around $300, I don't know if I got ripped on that or not though. So I'd say around there.
