Cavalier Trunks

A while back a big bloody Honda SUV rear-ended me, and as a result he dented my trunk and I'm pretty sure he bent one of my hinges, because the trunk sits on a really weird angle now. For some stupid reason, they called it 50/50, so I couldn't get my insurance to cover it, as I didn't want to pay all the money.
I went to a scrap yard and bought the trunk of a Cav of the same model, but I can't put it on yet because it will still be crooked, just not dented heh.. And my car won't bloody stop leaking.. Of course it doesn't help that it's raining like shit here.
Does anyone know the proper procedure for either fixing a hinge or where I could go to find that information?
Thanks in advance.
