what do you guys think about this
well last night my bad battery died on me and i replaced it with a dry cell optima red top anyway so i decided i just will relocate it to the trunk and put both in the trunk and run all my switches lighting and etc.. to the low one and system to the red top anyway my point in writting this is that i wonder is there anything else i could just relocate to the trunk while i'm doing this because i minus well do it while the baterry is out and the whole car is a dud laying there silent in my garage i'm also installing the gt300 alarm bypassing the factory alarm and adding remote start if i figure out this wiring anyway wish me luck and any suggestions..

lol yeah that would be sweet!! i wish!

but yeah anyway i relocated my battery and added the alarm and the remote start i took my sub out of the wheel well and placed the two batteries now in there and they fit snug i grounded it in the trunk and and now i can easily add that ful cold air intake without worrying about the battery being in the way its so cute how that whole part in front of the intake is just empty i wish i had more ideas of stuff to relocate and i would be able to make the engine bay look as simple and dressed up as possible

i'm working on the det working on getting it i've been working hard saving little by little just give me a bit more time

any suggestions please feel free to post

lol hahaha everybody online tells me the same thing, i dont know if it pisses people off to read my posts since i use no punctuation. The thing is its just because i'm usually so excited to talk to other "g" owners that i'm rushing just to post and dont really care about how i post it . Sometimes i'm so excited about maybe ordering something for the car or finding out new stuff i end up not even spelling one word right in the entire post.

anyway i'm sorry about that to anyone who takes offense about that!

and to thaa if you think about doing it too the whole process is real simple. The hardest part is finding a hidden way to run a power wire from inside the car through the car and into the trunk without being noticed, its kind of hard because the power cable is pretty thick and most likely you have to drill a whole in the firewall to get the cable through there also..
anyway i'm babbling now
so i'm out

You are running two batteries? Wouldn't it be easier (and lighter) to run just the Optima and a distribution block? also, is the second battery in the trunk also a sealed battery, if not, and you are still going to run it, you may want to look into a battery box that vents to the outside.

Yes you are right it would be easier to get rid of one. I just didnt get around to finsishin the whole deal off and bracketing the optima into the trunk because i have an extensive system going into the trunk and i have to figure out the map of my trunk i was just going to run all my lighting and etc.. crap to the bad battery and run the car off the optima and run the systems off the optima.
The first battery is the optima dry cell and the second is the acid stock battery when i placed the bad one in the trunk,I bought a vented box it looks just like a sealed box with a tube going straight down the right side. I didnt drill to pass the tube through to car to exit outside because I pretty much knew I wasnt going to put and keep the wet battery in the trunk. When they put the system in i beleive i have to buy another battery to run all that off of and thats another $125

anyway like usual i'm babbling and the bottom line is i will take the bad acid battery out real soon

btw . thank you for the imput justin and everyone else

p.s. sorry about puntuation

ey casual: I'm not offensed by it, but it gets harder to read and understand... no flow if U get me...

but anyway: I've installed a bigass bassbox some time ago, and when doing that, I got real powercables (like 25-33mm2) for the amplifier. No idea what gauge, but big cables is the word!

Fuse used is 60A, would I need more?

it depends thaa how much power you pushing to the woofer and how is the 60a holding up?
if you dont experience no small power losses while full blast then i wouldnt mess with the current setup.. what size sub u running and how many watts you pushing to the woofer

for the most part you probably doing ok so far.
the reason i didnt get the big power cables is because i looked at the jump starting cables and saw all i had to do was get one 20 ft one for 16 dollars and i had both enough for the ground and power
anyway here i go babbling again

lol
