Can't find hardly any cams for the f22......there's a topline cam here's the stat for it->2156cc 85mm, then there's gude.com, but their site is screwed up.

What you should look at moreso than the hp gains is where the cam makes its gains on the powerband-hell some cams just move power from the lower rpms to the higher-no gains at all. The general rule is the higher the duration, the more low rpm gains, the higher the lift, the more high rpm gains. Find a cam for your use. You can have high both if you plan on keeping it natural. Forced engines like high lift, short duration-they tend to knock w/ high durations. And like it was said, the cams are more effective when used with an aftermarket ecu.

I been looking around and I think comp cams are the best for my car b18c, I want to keep stock gsr manifold but possibly extrude hone that and the head. Dont want to raise red line either so something that will give me increased hp all over rpm range. what do you think of comp cams? There is a local seller here selling stage 2 skunk2 cams with aem cam gears for $700 what do you think of those, and the price? thanks!!

Skunk2 stage 2 cams seems to be the #1 cam from everyone I know using them sounds like a good deal. Comp cams makes good stuff too. Skunk2 stage 1 is also very nice very smooth just a bit of step up on whole power band. Hope this helps.

If you write in saying I am going to put a cam in my car with out any specs on the cam you must be clueless. FYI you already have a cam in your car. Hints the first reply to your post. Second more, duration doesn't mean more low end power. Higher lift increases power all over the rpm not just top end. The problem is to get higher lift duration must increase. Too much duration = no low end because you bleed off cylinder pressure. More duration equals bad idle and drivability in the low end. Why do you think they have vtec. For bigger cam lobes to kick a$$ on the top end, but have driveablity at the low end. For god sakes this lets get technical is a joke. How about you read your magazines a little more or maybe go to howstuffworks.com You could probably double your knowledge on valve trains in 5 min.

That's not a cam spec.
This is a cam spec...
Int-240 dur. / 11.5mm lift
Exh-235 dur. / 10.5mm lift
