I got my next car today!

Well continuing with the "Realistically what will be your next car", I visited my favorite car lot today and found that car I listed.

A 1992 Silver R32 GTR, and bought it today. As soon as pics are ready will post a few :)

Man am I rapt though. Gave Moondog and FTO girl a ride along with Spectr.

Dreams can come true if you believe enough. :)

......btw, moondog wants me to tell you that he's registered on AF and SDU as RazorGTR and will sell the nicks to you for a price!! :p :hehehe: He's thinking along the lines of a set of keys maybe. The ones with that nice silver GTR key on 'em? :p

Well you can certainly have a good blat in it as a passenger!

The car goes pretty good for being fairly stock standard. Only a Trust 3 1/2 exhaust (cat still in), trust down pipes, and pod filters. Though it lacks the grunt and explosiviness of my former GTS-t I am happy. Very drivable in all weather condition even hard out acceleration in the pouring rain.

I promiss to get some pics as soon as I can.

Oh and you can get a GTR to drift quite nicely thank you ;) ;) ;) :eek:

I am really in heaven. Always said one day I would own one, and ironiclly the realisticlly thread appeared and this car showed up.

The other Silver GTR in the picture is a 1990 with the N1 front bumper. Mine as it is turns out is an early model Vspec -1, with a non-Vspec bumper. I am trying track the right front one down and so far I have found one in black but damn at $1,300 NZD a bit high for it.

If you don't mind telling me, how much did you pay for it?

I got it at a steal. The price was $30,000 NZD or around $14,000 USD. Silver and white are extremely hard to find, well non-repaints or colour changed ones. The car is orginal as far as I can tell.

The handling has been greatly improved recently with the addtion of 4 new tyres. Nankang NS1's, 255/40R/17's. Bloody expensive for the set, nearly $2,000.

I'd call you a lucky bastard,but I guess you worked hard for it - or will do!!
