help with headers and exhaust

i have a honda civic lx and i am going to add headers and a bolt on exhaust and i was wondering if i would gain any horsepower by doing this i already have a short ram air intake

Changing the intake mainly adds more decibals than horsepower, so adding a header ( you will only need one ) and a straight muffler will allow the engine flow at a higher rate.

yes you will see a gain in HP and performance, they will become more notcible with the more mods you do to the engine.

generally speaking, restriction on intakes such as those on stock filters, will diminish power at higher rpm, where there is more resistance. the same can be said most of the times with your exaust system.
depending on what type of headers you get, you can increase diffrent ranges of your power band. my suggestion to you is..... get a stock dyno chart for your vehicle. see from what rpm your power band starts and stops, and equip accordingly. for example: lets say that my power band is between 5,000 rpm to 7,500 rpm, i would want to get headers that would increase most power at that range.
