my light came on

the maintenance required light has come on and i thought that it was that i needed an oil change, so i did that, but it still won't go out. i know about the reset button, and it does nothing. each time i start my car it still comes on. what should i do? (i don't want to have to go to a dealership) :banghead:

Maybe you did it wrong. It doesnt mean anything serious like the check engine light.

The reset button has to be pressed in before you drive the car and you have to hold it in for a few seconds until the light goes out. Try this and let us know if you need more help.
