Elon Musk and Larry Ellison have both taken off-road excursions in their cars.
Larry Ellison's car was shipped to Germany and repaired. Elon Musk's was shipped to England for repairs, if I remember correctly. Date should be in some web article.
Rowan Atkinson pranged his pretty badly by rear-ending a subcompact. Date should be on the web somewhere.

I was told that over 20 of the roadcars have been in some sort of accident. But the source of this information is known to exaggerate and so far as I know, is only friendly with the owner of one McLaren F1.

In 1995, a Frankfurt businessman lost control in an F1 at 270 km/h on an autobahn. Serious damage to McLaren but not to him.
Is this the one that was pictured on page 103 of Driving Ambition? It says in the caption, ". . .When this customer's F1 slammed backwards into an autobahn barrier at some 300km/h the silencer absorbed the brunt of the impact, just as the salesman had said. . .
The picture shows an F1 with the entire rear behind the engine destroyed or missing.

Hello !
seriously, when I talk of Thomas Bscher, nobody has heard of him ?
Apparently, he raced on a F1 GTR and owns or owned a F1 Road Version, maybe twice ?
He is at head of Bugatti since last month.
Goodbye
