I'd have a 22B, ScoobySport RB5, Impreza P1, 4 door, Type R Coupe, Wagon, McRaes works Rally car, Version VI Wagon etc............

If you'd settle for a 1998 WRC Impreza that'd be fine, since he hasn't driven for Subaru since 1998.
If you want the best version of the Impreza WRC for that body style, go for the P2000 rather.
On the other hand Alistair will be driving a Group N Impreza in 2004, would that suffice?

I don't think anyone was bastardizing their language. I had no idea that it was known as STI's in other parts of the world, i just figured that STD was the world wide terminology.

as for the McRae car- I don't like any Impreza after 2000, with the stupid Neon-like front end- since I won't be driving it, it's solely for display
