Question!!!!

riceburner?????? or ricerocket?????
riceburner just doesn't sound right in my perspective... but some people be calling cars riceburners. aren't riceburners motorcycles??? someone help me clear this up..

Crotchrockets are motorcycles hehe... I don't know where they got riceburners from but maybe it means that's what they run on -- rice. I guess ricerockets are fast rice burners?

I always heard it as ricerockets being bikes (taken from crotchrocket) and riceburners being ricemobiles.............i dont think it really matters though.....

ricing out your car actually means making it fast... but after a while, it translated into makit it "look" fast and is now considered a negative conotation. Rice burners as i understand are also considered as rice eaters or cars that can smoke out "riced" out cars (ones that only look fast and aren't really fast).... rice rockets are probably considered the same.

all in all --- we're all ricers since we tweak the cars to make em fast.... there are just those that rice their cars by adding aftermarket to improve the look instead of the performance.

Krauters are German cars that are "tweaked." I prefer calling them Nazi-rockets though. Kraut burners, krauters, nazi rockets, kraut rockets... it's all the same.

Yeah, I always called the rice mobiles riceburners.

I've always called fast japanese cars rice burners, fast german cars bratwurst burners, fast swedish cars smorgasbord burners, and fast american cars apple pie burners. Oh yeah and I've heard both crotchrocket and ricerocket used for motorcycles, too.

I used to ride a Suzuki GSX-r 750 and frequented the sportbiker boards and this is what I have always heard.

Rice Burner: When used by a biker its what all the old Harley riders called the Japanese sportbikes. But when car guys talk about it they mean a Japanese car that is riced out with stickers, huge spoilers, body mods and stock internals.

Crotch Rocket: Any kind of 190mph+ range sport bike, well, its not realy that exact, lets just say fast ass bikes.

Rice Rocket: Hell I donno, somthin fast from the east :rolleyes:
Actualy, I have heard this in conjunction with bikes more then cars.

Hope my bike lingo has helped ya, hmm I'm kinda fealin it now, makes me want to ride agian, call people squids and worry about lowsidin out or a decreasing radius in the twisties. Mmmmmm bikes.... Damnit! Look what you've done, you've started my obsession all over agian!!!
