b16 in an 87 teg

Why a B16? Why not any B18 motor VTEC or not it will be faster than with the B16. The B16 is a motor best suited for really light cars because of it's great lack of torque. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/2cents.gif

well....true true but i was also thinking about doing a b20 but changing the head to an ls cause a b20 head sucks,maybe slap a b16 tranny cause of the gears,but i don't know i was posting this reply for a freind......

The B20Z and B20B heads are the same as the B18B1 heads. I think the B20A1, B20A3, and B20A5 are the same as well but not 100% sure. If you do go the B20 route get the B20Z not the B20B the B20Z's are from Japan but have 146hp and 133 lbft torque. Just a little info for ya.
