Enamel primer, Auto paint

Yeh i just have a quick question. Would it be alright to use enamel primer with automotive paint? Has anyone did this? If so does the paint job come out alright?

Can be done but is fraught with dangers.
Much better idea to stick with just the one type of paint.

Too late. I already painted the body with two light coats and it seems to have like a flakey look to it. I sprayed it with a metalic automotive spray. Should i just sand it down and give it another 2 coats and then rub/wax? Please don't make me throw out my sas 350z.

The flakey look may just be the metallic flakes in the automotive paint. Some 1:1 mixes are too grainy for scale model use. If you keep applying very light coats you should be okay. Don't lay them down too thick or the lacquer solvents could eat through the primer. Also leave plenty of drying time between coats.

Sanding should be okay just take it easy, it could cause different reactions if you cut down to or through the primer. Just experiment, you've got nothing (much) to lose.
