if your already replacing your valves, springs, and cams, i would suggest upgrading instead of putting everything stock back in! thats all i can offer right now because i dont know much about the 1g's...

The stock head on stock parts will do over 500 whp and rev to 8500 rpm reliably (your mileage may vary). The common upgrades are SS valves (~200-250), and springs retainers, if you plan to rev higher than 8500. The 1g and 2g heads are nearly identical in every way excpet for the obvious difference in port size and runner design. As for hte HP question, I thik the limit is going to be the non turbo pistons (if you are running those), even on the stock turbo which will do 25 psi.
