Sounds like the guy was lazy and either cut the wire to the clutch pedal or unplugged the switch. That's all it could be. You should be able to see it next to the pedals. :nono:

Well, i guess it must be a common mistake or something, because most cars dont come with cruise control and MT.
But regardless, he should be able to have info on how to do it

hoo haa i have a 96 integra ls and i had no idea that my cruise would shut off when i hit the clutch but it makes sense now. Truly he was prolly usin compustar or ultrastart cuz DEI doesn't recommend using their products in manual vehicles. Sometimes you have to trade. THe easy way to bypass the any clutch is to test all wires then push the clutch in and test to see which wire change and send it to the proper polarity. This will make DEI's work with manual cars otherwise use the clutch engage wire on r/s that are supposed to be installed on manual vehicles.

Out of all the Hondas I have owned, my current car is the only manual that didn't have cruise. On the older cars, it was a simple push type of switch mounted right in front of the top of the clutch pedal, and the brake switch was right next to it.
