There's a CD stuck in my 6 disc in-dash changer. I just brought the vehicle in for 45K service and was told they can't service the stereo, only replace it for about $600!
How hard is it to remove the unit from the dash? Are we talking major dash disassembly to get to it? I figure I may be able to fix it myself. If I can't, I located a used one for $250. The other option may be to go to an aftermarket stereo. Thanks.

Chuck- try this: http://carstereohelp.com/stereoremovalIsuzuRodeo2Str.htm
There's usually a few of 'em on eBay. I personally would just yank the factory changer & put in a nice aftermarket unit seeing as your warranty is up on it.

to remove the unit is easy. just remove the ashtray there is a screw there. that will take the trim off then there is a bracket that holds the stereo in remove the screws and the stereo slides out. after market is the way to go bub.
