1st timer w/ ABS Pump problem?

Hello everyone!

First time to post here, hopefully someone can help me out.

Last night my '98 Durango's ABS and Brake light came on along with a "whirring" noise emitting from what I assume is the ABS Pump, like a small motor. After turning off the engine and all power the whirring continued!? The only way I got it to stop is by pulling the "ABS Pump" fuse. When I tried to replace the fuse it started up again.

My two main concerns are 1) is it drivable? and 2) Does the above description sound like the ABS Pump and if so. What are my repair options (cost, do-it-myself, parts etc)

Thanks in advance,

Barry
