Whats your favourite Skyline GTR

I had a look and didnt notice any previous threads about this.

Since we seem to love our Nissan GTR's here, im interested to see which one is your favourite out of the R32,R33,R34.

For me the pick would have to be the R32, this is probably the most agressive lines out of all of them plus this car also conjures up visons of insane Jap guys screamin around the mountain roads of tokyo.

I still remember one early morning around 2am i was driving in the Sydney Harbour Tunnel before they installed speed cameras, a heavily worked R32 was screaming down the right lane seeing this thing approach my rear view mirror was amazing, he would have been doin 200+ easy, the sound was unreal. This became a phenomena call the 200 club after that the police installed 24hr speed camera's.

Well, out of those generations, my favorite is probably the R32 but that's far from my favorite GT-R.

My favorite GT-R Skyline by far and away is the KPCG110 GT-R Skyline, also known as the "Ken & Mary" Skyline. They only built a hundred-odd examples of the GT-R in this generation, but its aggresive lines and bold fender flares, coupled with the ungodly awesome S20 straight-six made it one mean little car.

Thanks to Tonioseven, I'm building one as we speak from the full-detail Fujimi kit. I'm trying to go all-out with it, too.

R32 is my fav also......my dad is selling his now though....so anoying... :(

Although i wouldnt mind a R34 just becuase its a newer car. :)

r33 but i like the r34 too

R32 for me, cause I believe that it is the most balanced out of the three.

R32 because it has the nicest lines of the modern GTR's.Any of the late 60's early 70's models.

R32's or R34's for me, The interior of the R32 is so dated.

R32....a purists preference. Gizmo junky...R34 no doubt.

KPGC10 or an R32... Old school Rulz!!! a 34 wouldnt hurt though

BNR34, R34 GT-R VspecII....i think BCNR33 (R33 GT-R)last version is also good too

Have to go for the nice clean lines and looks of the 34

The R-34 IMO is by far the best.

R34 is my fav. It just looks like raw power. Plus its full of techno junk. Also a nice low-ish R32 is ok. Never cared much for the R33...

actually, I'm not a big fan of skylines, The only one I really like is the R34, that about it.

let me go ahead and represent the R33. I love em all, so I'll just mention the one that appears least liked so far. I think it looks awesome!! 400R!!! :D

hmmm....thats a hard question!!! I love all three of those generations. To me the REAL GT-R is the BNR32....but I'd still have to say the BNR34 is my fav:biggrin:

Definitely the R34! I’ve finally finished my R32 and Moondog his R33. I’m now in the process of putting together a model of my R34 (but that’s a GT-t). My next project after that will be an R34 GTR.

I like the Nismo R-tune R34 and the 400R.

I guess if you do put it that way, yeah the R34 does look like an R32 on steroids.

I have a few favourite models; let's start with the obvious ones.
The Nur spec R34 GTR is an awesome piece of machinery, pure race-bred porsche-like corner scorcher.
The R33 has always had an appealing look for me, especially in the balls out hardcore 400R guise

But probably my all time favourite is the 1982 non-turbo sedan, It holds a special place in my heart simply because my father owns one and it's unbelievably reliable. It's proven its tougher than some new-age dung heap By continuing to run on LRP despite having a blown head gasket.

For outright engineering and technological excellence coupled with great styling, an R34 probably gets my vote but for pure beauty it has to be old school. The KPGC110 just looks so powerful standing still! It's styling is also absolutely unique. I guess my perfect Skyline would be a KPGC110 on an R34 floorpan :iceslolan

i like the r34's the best there a very clean car that are also very agressive looking.
