If you're new to the sport compact world maybe you should consider learning your car first before you go and modify it. The 350Z is an outstanding vehicle on its own. You've said it yourself your new to 'all this.' By that I'm assuming racing and/or the notion of modifications. If you can't handle the car in stock trim, you'll probably be overwhelmed with close to double the hp. Don't forget that going fast isn't what it's all about. Sure it's fun, but what good is it if you can't stop? What good is it if it doesn't respond quickly enough? Brake and suspension modifications are just as important to the overall feel and performance of the car than just going fast.
