Hello, I´m back again with an old Tamiya kit witch is actually rather good thus all it´s years behind. I have building some AFV´s (military) for some time now and now it´s time for a car again. Pic´s show my rim choice and the rear ones will be widened. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/65198300_ZX_w_ch_rims.JPG

And here´s a pic of engine. Some detailwork and weathering left to do. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/65198300_ZX_engine3-med.JPG

I have one of those one the way to completion, too. Just needs a few coats of ice blue nail polish and then final assembly.

I like your wheel choice. They definitely compliment this car. Hope yours goes together without a hitch, too.

I've always wondered why there weren't that many Z32's on the board compared to the number of 350Z's on the board.

I love the tamiya 300zx kits. Ive built the TT and convertible and
plan on building another convertible soon since I trashed my other
one. This ones coming along nicely. Rims go hand in hand.

Ah, this is good to see. I have one of these kits that I've yet to tackle. I could do with some inspiration!
The wheels are a good choice ...exactly the sort you would actually see one of these cars. The engine's certainly come out very nice. :sunglasse

Not much for a picture but yet still an upgrade to this progress. She is painted black metallic (Automotive paint) and are begging for one more clear coat.

I used a 50/50 ratiomix of Tamiya XF-56 and XF-64. Then some blackwash and a drybrush with XF-56. That´s it! I´m glad you´ve liked it.

this may be a dumb question, but I've never had to deal with "blackwash" and "drybrush" before. Could you explain this more in detail? Thanks!
