how could i fix this for when i buy it

Hey whats go'n on i'm new to the site. But i need help with something. My friend is selling a crx. he just put a gsr motor (b18c) in it. He said that the ecu or wiring harness needs to be replaced or something? or something like that cuz is sending to much gas to the motor. He said that its putting gas into the headers. i want to buy this car but if its going to coast to much or be to much truoble then i don't want to mess with it. can some one tell me what i can do so that if i do buy this car that i don't have to wait for it to be in the shop to long. the reason he's not going to finish it is cuz hes working on another crx. so if some one could just help me out thanks jose barrera

There could be a ton of things that need done to it. Is it a DX, Si, or HF? What ECU does it have right now? Is it converted to OBD1 or 2, or stock at Zero? I would need more info to tell you what it would take to fix it. Where is the car located at?

it has the ECU from the car they got the motor from before and its not converted, its a SI crx, what is stock or zero mean? and it in ohio every body that we hang with said all it needed was a wiring harness to fix teh amout of gas going to the motor and thats all thats really wrong with it. they said something about the gas going into the headers? thats all i know he just lowered the price to 850$ it was 1k i'm happy about that

buy the car, sell the engine, and buy an engine that you want to put in it.
