Battery Light

I am new the this board. I have 2000 Jimmy SLE. The alternator was replaced earlier this year and for two days the battery light has been on and will not go out. Can anyone tell me what the problem may be. I recently replaced the battery. I need help.

most likely the alternator is bad again. i have a friend that drive a blazer and i replaced the alternator twice within a year.

Thank you for your help. My dad told me the same thing. I will be spending more money for another alternator replacement.

If you had your alternator replaced at a GM dealer the first time, it would have been covered under a lifetime replacement warranty.
