When removing the radio on my 99 Taurus SE I used the coat hanger method and I think I may have bent the clips a little bit because it won't come out but it feels really loose. Is there another way I can get at the clips?

they make keys for $10. Or my friend said he did it with an awl, and pushing up from the back at the same time.

Get the 2 u shaped-tools at autozone for 6 bucks-
I've gotten them out with all sorts of make shift tools...but some times the correct ones are the only way to get it out sanely.. took 10 seconds after screwing around for 1/2 hour with coat hangers.. :)

I bought the DIN removal, u-shaped tools, from my Auto Zone last week for $3.99.
