The lux bose unit is only found in the Hummer, Escalade, Denali, Etc while the standard bose radio's are in the Tahoes, Trailblazers, Yukons, Etc.

This is INCORRECT information. My 2002 Envoy came with the BOSE 6 disc changer from the factory, and has the BOSE LUX AMP from the factory.

I installed a INR LUX NAV unit and it works and sounds awesome!

I am hoping that someone may be able to provide some information on how I might possible fix the Navigation Unit I bought off ebay - Part number 15204334.

I have a 2004 GMC Envoy SLT with Bose system and I bought a 2004 Nav unit to replace the 6 disc stock radio but have run into a bit of a problem. The plugs fit right in, unit powered up, steering wheel controls all work except the volume - all I can get is very very very low level volume from the unit and a buzz sound. All the features work on the unit and when you set a destination the direction prompt comes through the speakers load and clear.

Does this mean that I need the dealer to set the unit to my vehicle or is this unit not capatible?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a 2006 Impala, after reading all of these posts, and not being able to see your PDF, I am still not sure what is true. I bought a stock chevy navigation, and want to install it, when I plug it in, it reads "theft lock". do I jsut need to program the vin to it? is this something that can be done easily?

Does anyone know if the navi for 2003 or newer will fit in a 2002? I know the dash is different but i already have a 2003 dash with the bigger opening for the navi. I just dont know about the plugs.

I just replaced the worn buttons on my 2004 escalade nav. radio 15204335. I was told to unplug the unit first so I did . I then took the face plate off unscrewed the 4 screws in the corners of the underside of the front screen. everything went well.. I plugged it back in and the radio worked fine but I have no screen for the radio. I have been calling caddie dealers and they said it should have come back on. One told me I should disconnect the battery and touch both cables together and that may reset something. I think the guy is laughing about this still today. I checked the ribbon wire a million times. Anyway does anyone know what I can do or what I did wrong. Thanks:frown:
