What is the best Integra to start out with.I've heard the LS? or the type-r.I'm not sure I've heard many different things.Need guidance.Low to average budget so keep it in moderation please. :evillol: :uhoh:

I can afford either one.Just want to know which one has the most potential for modding out.I'd go with the hot one. :boink: Of course I've heard of the gsr.Some one told me to just get one of the ones listed above and mod the h*** out of them.Said it would come out better than the gsr :disappoin

Please dont get a Type R is you have to ask between the 2 of them. Listen to the people on these boards, they usually know what they are talking about and give good advice, although you might have the money for a Type R i suggest that you get an LS and than mod it from there.

I agree with the few people who said don't get a Type R just get an LS or GSR and mod them.

What do you want? All motor or Forced Induction? Just get an LS and turbo it.

Turbo? remember he didnt know which car to start off with, so i dont know if he should go turbo lol...well just not right off the bat that is. But ya...go with the LS, cause it does have a lot of potential

Hey guys thanks for all your help. I have found a different car that caught my interest. One of the only domestics I even like really. Pontiac Firebird. I'm going over to that forum for now. I'll be checking back here once in a while so if you think you can persuade me to come back do it to me baby. :wink:

good luck if u go for the type r. i have only seen one for sale and it was asking 20k i would just buy a rsx type s for that much just my 2 cents

You're too late, he said hes goin domestic. I hope its a formula. Trans Ams are a little better in my opinion, WS6. yeah baby. I personally would only get an LS1. But thats just me.

I have not turned to the dark side, yet. I was just looking into the Firebird. I'm not really interested in the Acura/Honda scene anymore, except for the CRX. But that is just me. Find me there sometime will you.

Not necessarily better, just a little harder to find. The firehawk wasnt even really pontiac, it was SLP.

As far as I was aware the higher compression on the gsr limits to about 6-8psi if you like your motor and want to keep it a while. The LS on the other hand is more like 10-12psi

so IF i have a 94' GS-R.. with just CAI and exhaust... do you think i can out run a 96' civic with a true Japanese B16?

Not sure what a JDM Civic is running but i'm thinking if you're a decent driver you sould be able to pull that one out.

go with the type r.. the responses from a type r would be well worth it... i dont care if the ls would be a tad quicker at the end of your project...but if you had a type r from day one it is a badass ride! i would kill for a type r..there is no better looking integra then a stock type r that is dropped

oh yea and about the JDM civic... ive, takin a four door with a true jap B16 with intake.. and im stock ..but im sure there is quite a weight differance between a coupe
