So my friend gets a 95 Trans Am a few months back and we finally got a chance to run tonight.

His car:
95 T/A, t topped, M6.
4.10's, eibach lower springs, 3" cat back with a Blowmaster, high flow cat, short shifter, and a K&N cai.

We run a bunch of times from a roll and a few from a dig. The most common run from a roll went something like this..

Going about 30mph, we both hit it. I usually jump a head by 1/2 a car because 30mph at second gear puts me right in the power band(hehe.. I'm a cheater). By the time I shift from 2nd to 3rd, my front bumper is at his door. By the top of 3rd, which is about 90mph for me, he has like 2-3 cars on me. We always shut down before 100.

Going from a dig, I usually have a slightly better launch on him, so that puts me like 1/2 a car ahead, but when he hooks, it's pretty much over for me. By 60mph, he's probaly got like 1-2 cars on me.

Ya, fun stuff.. I did a lot better than I thought I'd do.

And boy, does that LT1 sound good !!

haha...basically trying to keep his ego in check.

he's pretty sure he's gonna be pretty quick. for $1500 (installed) he can't go wrong tho. i mean...he'll hit low 15's w/ jus the motor alone.
