I am a new member and am an owner of a 2000 Chevy Malibu.

I've read through alot of your posts and have some questions and comments for you all.

I bought my car in June of 2000 and I currently have 66,000 miles on it, About 80% of my miles are freeway miles. I'm on my second set of tires my second set of rotors and my third set of brakes. I've had to change my upper intake manifold gasket, and replace my battery.

Modifications include:

Remote Start System - Viper 550esp w/ remote windows, hood protection, and glass break sensor.

Sound system - Pioneer head unit, JBL 600.1 powervalve amp, MTX 504 amp, 6.5" Infinity component system in front door, Eclipse 6x9's in rear deck, 4 - 10" MTX 6000 series subs mounted in false floor in trunk and a deep cycle battery

Flowmaster Exaust + Open air cone filter

Is there a way to bypass DRL's?
I will post how to bypass factory theftlock codes tommorow.

How much did you pay to get the upper intake manifold gasket? (If someone else reads this please feel free to comment.)

I'm in the process of installing a sub/amp but how did you do the false floor thing (since the trunk floor is just the spare tire well with some cardboard/wood over it). Where/how did you mount the sub and amp? any pics?
