Supercharger fit question ?

I have a 1994 honda del sol si with a d16z6 engine, I was able to find a JR supercharger for really cheap but it was made for a d16a6 witch I believe was in the 1988-91 civic. I am wondering if the blower would work on my engine since from my understanding they are basicly the same engine only the d16z6 has VTEC any help would be great thanks

Call Jackson Racing at there toll free number. I had the same question for my 94 del sol VTEC. They make a kit for the 99-00 civic SI that will fit my car with a few extra pieces. They will know.
