A2 transaxles

hey folks, i'm not really familiar with Volkswagen, my sister just bought a a2, so i'm just wondering what transaxles are swappable with this engine.....it seems the transaxle have a 5 terminal plug compare to the original tran that suppose to have 3 terminal....any help would be greatly appreciated....thanks

If you're willing to spend some time modifying the mounts and reconfiguring the electrical connections you can use some of the rabbit (A1) trannys too.
