Ok I've been looking for a 350 for a bit now.
I've come across a LT1 with all accessories and ECM etc...
Cam across a 5.7L TPI with the same deal only 200 bucks difference but no idea what I want to get.
just want a daily driver with with a good passing gear that I can modifiy and add a turbo to later down the road..
Any help?
TIA

Go with the LT1, it'll be better all around...

Why is it better all around?
Seems like stuff for it cost more too..
What makes it better is it just the base power ?
Thanks for your input Blackie

LT1 parts aren't that expensive, especially when compared to my LS1 parts. Of the two that you mentioned, there is more out on the market for LT1's right now than there is for a TPI motor. You'll get more reliable power out of it as well, IMO. Base power alone is more than enough to run away from the 3rd Gen.
