I can get 99 lives, and I can beat the game in less than 15 minutes, but I can't get 99 lives and beat the game in 11 minutes. I haven't even tried, but I don't think I could...try or not. LOL. props and a big wahoo to those who can.

That's just plain crazy. There's no way I can pull that off...

my dad played that game more then i did. I would wait hours for my turn but it would never come.

I remember when the game was still relatively new, there was a contest at my dad's company picnic to see who could get the farthest/rack up the most points in a given amount of time. I think it was about 3-5 minutes. I placed 3rd out of about 30, so I thought I was hot stuff... but 11 minutes, geez. :eek7:

I guess I just prefer to practice driving instead.

the fast levels were the to the nth degree of insanity, you have to have the next 10 moves planned while beating a level in 7 SECONDS.

I must disagree, beating something everyone has played at one point of their life in the time it takes me to get dressed in the morning is something of note and awe, albeit brief and maybe only mildy entertaining.

How do you know this isn't a bot? I've seen some of the most awesome quake demo's and later found out the demo was using a top of the line bot.

they have bots for nes? i knew that you could use 2 scrolls to warp to the last levels, but i didn't know about bots....plus that person could have gone under the boats and because they hadn't invented drowning yet, that person could have swum to the last boat and jumped inside it to fight the boss.....

I dont know, but you can hack roms to do anything you want em to do, whole thing could be choreographed :p

Ya know, when I was watching it, I thought it might have been a fake too. For one thing, if you'll notice, he's tail-whipping AND jumping on severl of the enemies. Also; on the first tank level, watch the thrown wrenches VERY carefully- one of them momentarily goes INSIDE mario's sprite. There was definately something used to alter the coding of the game, whether it was an actual person with a game-genie or a bot I cannot say...but I'm convinced that is not real. :(
