11's in this gsx???

Hey guys, i have a spyder gst but latley ive been wanting to get a gsx. I found one that i like thats only about 70 miles away from me thats got alot of stuff on it and im wanting to know the hp, 1/4th mile times, and top speed that this car should have with the mods that its got. Will u guys plz give me ur best guesses on what it should run. a stock gsx 97 - 99 is running at 210 hp and a top speed os 130 - 140

SInce the motor is "built" I would toss that POS Hahn turbo in the barrel, and get a real turbo on there. But its not too bad. Should run low 12s, 11s with real good driving. But 11s is rare in a 16g car, I'm not gonna lie to you. ;) HP will be up to 350ish at the wheels. Too many ricer brands on there for my taste but it seems like a well rounded car.

Honestly i would be afraid to buy a GSX with that many mods. U dont build a 12 sec eclipse to make quicker trips to the grocery store. At any rate, take it to a mechanic u hopefully know personally b4 u buy it.

SOmtimes its better to buy it modded. A lot of the work you will have to do, like upgraded clutch, center diff, tbelt, etc may already be done, and that can save you tons of money if you're not the type to do that work yourself. Its a tough call sometimes, and it can go either way.

Im just wondering for myself...

Im planning on getting a 95 gsx....is there a difference between top speed and hp on that one than those 97-99. If so, are there any other differences.

The only differences between the 95-96 cars and 97-99 cars was cosmetic. But keep in mind the FWDs have a speed limiter, the AWDs dont. Or is that only on 1Gs... :sly:
