66 Impala SS Convertible??

ne1 kno of a 1966 Chevrolet Impala kit? i would really like an SS convertible so i can duplicate my 1:1 car, but a base model hard top will do.

i have a 64 impala ss kit that i made into a convertible(chopped top off) made by revell

The closest thing i've heard of to what you're talking about is a 66 impala wagon resin kit on some german lowrider site... I can find the URL for you if you want, but I don't know if you want it, since it's a wagon...

closest thing they make is the Revell 64 and the AMT 70 SS. Maybe get the wagon and chop it all up.

Revell make a 1965 Impala convertible

one remark however, these vintage kits can be pricy.

Hey Luc, I didn't know you hang out here!

I got lucky, found my '66 Impala CV kit at a local antique shop about 12 years ago, and paid all of $16.00 for it...mint unbuilt. They had a Johan '63 Rambler American for $18.00! I laughed at the price difference between them. I scratch my head now wondering why I didn't buy the Rambler... :grinno:

only my second post here, but canvassed it close to a year now.
Bout the '66 Impala, just as you 'bout a decade ago I found one, but at a diecast store, the price was $15.
Mine's not mint but close, but for that kinda money one can't complain
