Becker radio/casette

I have in my 1987 560SEC a Becker Grand Prix. Does this system powers the 4 speakers or is there in between a amp. located?
I have no technical data of this system.
I want to replace this Becker unit with an Eclipse 5 volt system and I wonder if I have to replace also the speakers and if so do I have to add an amp. I already know the standard fader has to be disconnected.
Need advise!
