2002 pontiac blower motor

my pontiac seems to barely blow air on 1 and 2 and then when i set higher it makes a noise i cant explain , where is the blower fan located , so i can maybe vaccumm leaves that are in there, My nissan i had the same problem where therer was a nest full of leaves on top of the fan , now i keep my air condition ducts closed when i leave car.I just dont know where the pontiacs fan blower located for 2002

Under the passenger side hush panel. Usually when speeds don't work on the blower it is caused by the blower resistor. The resistor burns up and it is located forward of the blower motor.

Is this the same for '99 Grand Ams. And if so does this cause any other damage throughout the car?

I have had the same problem with my 99 GA SE...for some reason it only blows Hot Air sometimes..other times it doesn't What could be the problem..
