I was talking to a friend of mines and he told me to put a sr20 into a 1995 240sx, I'll have to change the rear end beacuse that motor will break it. He said I'll have to send the eecu for that motor to jim wolf to reprogram it or the car won't start after i make the swap. He also said that it is much harder to swap engines, because it's not like a honda engine, dropping it in and pluging it up and turning it on. Is it really a lot of work
I need some advice on which motor to do up. Sr,Ka,Rb? I just want to be able to spank some Gsr's and Si's with turbo. How much am I looking at spending. Where are some good places to go and peice this monster together? prices on the stuff i need would do me some justice.

thanks jay.
dude, don't just go on what your friend is telling you. that's usually a bad idea. just because he says it's a cool car and tells you to do a certain swap doesn't mean it's the car for you or anything like that. do some research first and then decide.

Is your friend a honda fan?
A S14 sr20 will swap right into a S14. You wont need to send the ECU anywhere (though Jim wolf might be able to squeeze a bit more power out of it), and the rear end will be fine.
The only real difference is honda engines are so small you can just lower them into the bay and bolt it up. A SR20 is a RWD engine so it will be harder to maneuver into the bay.
