240sx

hey i have a question that I hope you could help me with. I have a two 93 240 sx's. one is totaled from the passenger side back and I just wrecked the other one while drifting (hit a curb really hard). any way when I hit the curb it bent everything in the passenger side fender well. now I know I can fix all that but it also tore a hole in the metal where my strut tower bar was warping both sides in this area,where the struts and strut tower bar mount. my question is can i remove these "fender wells" or what ever they are and replace them with the ones off my other car w/ out worrying about and difference in the hanndelling or rigidness of the car and if so how hard is it? thanks for your time

Ehh, sounds like you are going to have too many body/rigidity issues to deal with. Getting a new car could be cheaper and easier.

fliquer is right, my advice is find some ricer to buy to buy your car, dont worry you wont have trouble...many ricers are in need of this car.. just tell'em :

so you think good drifters don't wreck? everyone wrecks, you ever seen the D1 grand prix or any Option videos? you know how many bumpers get ripped off? and they don't even have curbs, just cuz someone wrecks doesn't mean they can't drift, I'm not saying he can cuz I don't know, but I guess your a professional? I dont claim to be a great drifter... as a matter of fact i never said whether i drift or not. The nos symbolizes my street race connection by the way. And he wrecked two cars... sounds like he needs to practice a little bit before he goes again. And you can STFU 2 cause i dont have anything wit you ACE

who said i wrecked the other one drifting? i just said it was totalled. i wrecked it doing about 130 on I-35 N-bound just out side of okc, had a blow out and hit a bridge support. wouldnt even of wrecked if it would of happened about 2 sec later

and im not a "fuckin ricer" why dont you go frm livin in a state where they have driftin event then be forced to move to north dakota where no one even knows what driftin is. i have to drive 8hrs to get to the nearest comp. what would you do.

Ill go out and powerslide my brother's Impala on streets lmao. Where he lives is pretty far out in the woods so to speak. You dont get much more out of civilization. So the streets are empty, theres no curbs, no traffic lights, no people wandering around all over the place lol, no cops. Its fairly safe to do drifts and powerslides out there. I have yet to go off road with that beast yet lol, maybe you all need to learn some control and smoothness. I see a lot of people just manhandle their car and this brings about some bad characteristics. Weight shifts more abruptly, direction of travel can change a lot easier, car can catch traction and shoot u into a wall lol, all these things happen all the time when you drift, so the possibility of crashing is prevelant everytime you want to get the tires smoking. However if you know what makes you crash and you plan ahead, avoiding certain things is possible, and you are able to lessen your chances of crashing. You don't have to go full bore trying to impress the japanese dorifto gods everytime u start up your car. lotta kids nowadays are either 100% WOT or stopped at a traffic light LOL, I feel for their cars.
